The Luxottica group is the world’s largest eyewear company, involved in every facet of the industry from designing and manufacturing frames to wholesale and retail. Luxottica covers the spectrum from budget conscious eyewear to iconic premium brands like Persol and Ray-Ban.
With their prescription glasses sold in many non-traditional environments such as medical practices it was necessary to develop a program and tool to familiarize these business owners with merchandising best practices. The Art of Retailing book we designed for Luxottica is a compendium of this knowledge. The initiative was a resounding success, helping drive sales significantly with the practices that participated.
